After landing on the disabled list with a calf strain, Wily Peralta will start his minor league rehab assignment tonight in Colorado Springs. Peralta will have 30 days to work his way back from injury -- and likely try to figure out why he was struggling before he got hurt -- but indications are he won't be stashed in the minors for the entire month. Peralta had a 7.20 ERA (5.00 FIP) in 53.2 innings between 8 starts and 9 relief appearances before getting hurt on June 20th.
