Sky Sox make Triple-A playoffs for first time in 20 years
Congratulations to the Colroado Spring Sky Sox, who broke a 20-year playoff drought today when they won the PCL American North Division, guaranteeing them a playoff spot. The Sky Sox game for today was cancelled due to rain, but they officially clinched when Oklahoma City lost to Omaha earlier today. They will face the Memphis Redbirds in the first round of the playoffs, and will hold home-field advantage per PCL rules. They will host Game 3 (as well as 4 and 5 if necessary) of the series.
