Another edition of the BCB Mailbag!
A July swoon has knocked our beloved local nine from atop their perch in the NL Central, but they remain very much in the thick of things at just 2.5 games behind the rival Cubs. The trade deadline came and went without much in the way of impact moves, though certainly not for lack of trying on the front office’s part. Waiver trades can still happen in August, of course, but for the most part the team we’ve seen throughout the season will be the group of guys we’ll be pulling for down the stretch. Will the Brewers recover? We can talk about that and whatever other questions you have!
