Game Thread #110: St. Louis Cardinals (53-54) @ Milwaukee Brewers (56-53)

Looks like a roof closed day

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

One more shot at winning a series before the Brewers head out on the road...the Crew took two of three from the Phillies coming out of the break but have fallen on hard times since.

(Sorry for the delay in writing just then...the cat caught a chipmunk and my wife was freaking out about it...I assured her that there was nothing I could do, and cats will be cats - especially this one, as he was originally brought in 14 years ago as a mouser. His name is Harvey the Pookah; known affectionately as Pookah, except by small rodents. My grandson thinks it's hilarious.)

Milwaukee's starter today is Matt Garza (4-5, 3.83), fresh off of his DL stint. St. Louis counters with Michael Wacha, who has been effective at 8-4, 3.71.

It's a No-Braun (or Pina) day, and Craig Counsell has gotten a bit creative with his lineup.

Voting on the poll question closes at 1:15 pm, so get those all-important votes in!
