Game Thread #158: Milwaukee Brewers (83-74) vs. Cincinnati Reds (66-91)

Five games are left, and Brandon Woodruff gets what might be his last start of the regular season.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

With the Rockies playing a standard game at Coors Field (a 15-9 show of offense, with surprisingly only two home runs), the Brewers have to keep pace again in the Wild Card race today. The Reds are starting Homer Bailey, who's just below a 7.00 ERA (which doesn't really mean anything when playing the Brewers), while the Brewers counter with Brandon Woodruff, who is likely making his last start of the regular season (unless he starts the tie-breaker game). Teams have started to figure out Woodruff, as his ERA has jumped from 1.52 to 3.76. He's kept the ball in the park, allowing just 3 home runs in 40.2 innings, and has also put together a 32:13 K/BB ratio. Of course, this is the Reds, so there's no guarantees about what could happen here.

Here are the lineups for tonight. First pitch is at 7:10 pm.
