Zach Davies scratched, Aaron Wilkerson will start season finale for Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers were eliminated from postseason contention with this afternoon's excruciating loss at the hands of the Cardinals, rendering tomorrow's game 162 essentially meaningless. With that being the case, the club has chosen to start Aaron Wilkerson in place of Zach Davies against the St. Louis Cardinals. Davies, 24, will finish his second full season in Milwaukee's rotation with a 3.90 ERA/4.22 FIP across 191.1 innings covering 33 starts. Wilkerson, 28, made his big league debut earlier this month and has allowed 3 earned runs in 3.1 innings across 2 appearances (1 start). (Statistics courtesy of Fangraphs)
