Fans around Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin have been sitting on their hands all winter waiting for the Brewers to make a major move. Well, it appears that we might be close to getting one:
Hearing some buzz that the #Brewers are getting close to a trade. No more details at present, but they’ve been discussing outfielders with multiple clubs.

If the #Brewers have a trade brewing, as I’m hearing, it’s not with the #SFGiants. They’ve also been talking to the #Whitesox, among other clubs.

The Brewers have been linked to notable targets such as Chris Archer and Whit Merrifield at various points throughout the winter, and have reportedly been looking to leverage their outfield depth in an effort to improve their starting rotation or at second base. There hasn’t been any indication who is getting dealt and to where as of yet, but we will continue to follow this story as it develops.
UPDATE:
Not hearing anything with #Rays https://t.co/1ouIFRwjRR

Consider the source on this one (Barstool), but it’s a rumor floating out there:
A little birdy told me Jacoby Ellsbury is heading to Milwaukee. Nothing definitive yet, but keep your ears peeled. I'll believe anything at this point

UPDATE 2:
Thanks for nothin’.
I had indications from a couple of places that something might be happening, but #Brewers are juggling a lot of scenarios. They've been in on Yu Darvish and Lorenzo Cain as well, and I know they've been working hard on trade possibilities. Sorry if I got people's hopes up. :( https://t.co/6dbd059dwn
