Checking in on the Milwaukee Brewers prospects in the Arizona Fall League

How have the Brewers’ prospects fared after one week?

Arizona Fall League play got underway on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Seven Brewers prospects have played for the Peoria Javelinas, guiding them to a 2-2 record.

The story line for Brewers prospects was Keston Hiura’s blazing start. In the first two games, the top Brewers prospect went 3-7, HR, 2B, 7 RBI, 2 R, 2 BB and 2 SB. His home run was a grand slam that broke open a tie game for Peoria.

Meanwhile, the Brewers’ pitching prospects have been showing up too. They’ve combined for 8 innings without allowing an earned run and striking out 10 batters.
