When asked how he would describe the 1975 World Series after the first two games, Bill Lee said “Tied”. That description is valid this season in the NLCS, some 43 years later. Hoodathunk.
The Milwaukee Brewers and LA Dodgers split the two in Miller Park, and each team looks to get a leg up on a trip to the World Series. The Dodgers have started slowly on offense in both games, but have come back late against the Milwaukee bullpen, leaving the tying run on third to lose by one, and then winning by one as the Brewers left the tying run on second in game two.
The Dodgers go with young righty Walker Buehler (8-5, 2.62) and the Crew sends out Jhoulys Chacin (15-8, 3.50). Both have been very good lately, so it could be another close game in the series, this time at Chavez Ravine.
Or not.
