Milwaukee Brewers name Gio Gonzalez the initial out getter for NLCS Game Four

68

Craig Counsell announced after today's game three victory that Gio Gonzalez will be the first Milwaukee Brewers pitcher to take the mound against the Los Angeles Dodgers in game four. The Brewers had been hesitant to name their initial out getter, but likely decided on who to use after seeing what pitchers threw in today's game. Gonzalez also started the first game of the series, going two innings and giving up a run on a solo homer. We'll see if Milwaukee lets Gonzalez bat this time around or if he just gets to pitch until his spot in the order comes up. I imagine this means we'll get another dose of Brandon Woodruff and/or Corbin Burnes tomorrow.
