Game two this afternoon between the Milwaukee Brewers (1-0) against the Colorado Rockies (0-1) at Miller Park as the Crew looks to get up 2-0 heading to Coors Field. Which would be a good thing.
Jhoulys Chacin (15-8, 3.50 reg. season) comes back on short rest to start for the Crew, and the rest isn’t all that will be short...Craig Counsell says the start will be short, too. The Rockies counter with lefty Tyler Anderson (7-9, 4.55).
With a lefty on the mound, Craig Counsell is opting for Travis Shaw at second base rather than Jonathan Schoop. Shaw is 3-5 against Anderson, and Schoop hasn’t been hitting well (6 for his last 37). Hernan Perez takes shortstop for Orlando Arcia.
