Here we go! First chance to move on to the NLCS, and boy it would be great to take advantage of the opportunity. A cool-to-cold Denver welcomes in the Milwaukee Brewers (2-0) to face the Colorado Rockies (0-2) in game three of the best of five series.
Wade Miley (5-2, 2.57 ERA in the regular season) looks to weave a little more “opener” magic this afternoon for the Crew, and he is opposed by Colorado ace-1A German Marquez (14-11, 3.77).
Pundits are expecting the move to Coors Field to awaken the Rockies’ bats. I’m hoping it does the same for the Brewers. Actually, a little bit more somnambulism for Colorado would be just fine.
