The road to the World Series will continue to pass through the NL West for the Milwaukee Brewers.

With their victory over the Braves today, the Dodgers have advanced to the NLCS with a 3-1 series victory. The Braves held a 2-1 lead today after 4 innings, but a 2-run single by David Freese in the sixth and a 3-run home run by Manny Machado in the seventh put the Dodgers up 6-2. That was enough for the Dodgers to take the series in Game 4 today.

The Brewers and Dodgers played 7 times this season, with all of the meetings happening right after the All-Star Break. The Brewers went 1-2 against the Dodgers at home July 20-22, then went 2-2 in Los Angeles July 30-August 2.

Game 1 is set for Friday in Milwaukee at Miller Park in what should be an evening game. Further details are still TBA, we will pass them along once they are available.
