We’re into the offseason and looking forward to seeing what the Brewers do to get ready for 2019. It’s a perfect time for you to join our team at Brew Crew Ball and cover the Brewers with us.

If you’re reading this, we’re assuming you love the Brewers and the community we’ve built here. Brew Crew Ball is hiring a paid contributor to help us cover the Brewers this season and beyond. Keep reading to find out if this might be the right opportunity for you.

What are we looking for?

We need someone who can commit to contributing two to three posts per week. During the season, we’ll need this person to help with game recaps, so availability for that is key. This is a remote, part-time, contract position with a monthly stipend.

What qualifications should you have?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about the Brewers.
  • Ideally already enjoys reading and commenting in the Brew Crew Ball community.
  • Loves baseball and is comfortable writing about it.
  • Is comfortable using advanced metrics in their writing.
  • Is comfortable covering breaking news and writing original analysis pieces.
  • Some writing experience is preferred.

How do you apply?

Submit a resume, cover letter, and a Brewers-related writing sample to SB Nation’s talent manager for team brands at jeanna.thomas@sbnation.com. You will not be considered for this role unless you submit these three items. You can also hit Jeanna up if you have questions about Brew Crew Ball, this contributor role, or SB Nation in general.

SB Nation and Brew Crew Ball are dedicated to bringing you coverage of the Brewers from a diverse array of voices and writers of all backgrounds. If your qualifications and experience do not perfectly align with everything we’re looking for, but you believe you have the potential to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply.
