Baseball America has connected the Brewers to one of the top and youngest international free agents who will be available this July. Eduardo Garcia is 15 years old and is expected to sign one of the biggest bonus offers of this signing period. The young shortstop won’t even be eligible to sign until a little over a week after the deadline because of his age.

Baseball America profiles Garcia as 6’2” and 160 lbs. saying the Venezuelan prospect has a very slender lower half. There isn't much public information available regarding the young infielder, though there is a scouting video that can be viewed by following the Baseball America link. We will continue to follow Milwaukee's courtship of Garcia and more in-depth scouting reports are sure to surface as we approach this year's J2 international signing period.
