Spring Training Game Thread #26: A’s (12-11) @ Brewers (16-7-2)

Wade Miley gets a chance to prove his last start was the exception rather than the rule as he makes his final audition for the Brewers’ roster. The Milwaukee Brewers of Maryvale (16-7-2) will host the Oakland Athletics of Mesa (12-11) this afternoon, and are sending out righty Daniel Mengden to face Miley.

Mengden, channeling his inner Rollie Fingers, will make his fourth start and sixth appearance this spring. He has produced an 8.04 ERA with a WHIP of 1.79 in 15 ²⁄₃ innings. Rather un-Fingers like numbers.

The Brewers have Miley in the line-up for batting practice while the A’s have Khrush DH’inging.
