Spring Training Game Thread #15: Athletics (6-5-2) @ Brewers (8-5-1)

As Yovani Gallardo continues his bid to make the Brewers roster, as well as the rotation this year, he’s getting his first start of the spring today. So far this spring, the results haven’t been the best, as he has allowed seven runs (four of them earned) in five innings over three appearances. He’s also allowed six hits and six walks compared to five strikeeouts. Spring numbers don’t always tell the whole story, but it’s still a rough start for him.

Today’s game will be televised on Fox Sports Wisconsin, and could be the first chance we get to see Ryan Braun playing first base in a televised game.
