Game Thread #11: Milwaukee Brewers (6-5) @ St. Louis Cardinals (4-6)

If it wasn't Carlos Martinez on the mound for the Cards I might be tempted to say the Brewers are going for a Series Win!

As April hits double digits the Brewers try to put together a winning streak for the first time since opening the season in San Diego. Come to think of it, Milwaukee is undefeated on the road.

Brent Suter (1-1, 6.30) starts for Milwaukee (6-5) and will face Carlos Martinez (1-1, 2.84) for St. Louis (4-6). Martinez shut out the Brewers through 8 1/3 innings last Wednesday in a 6-0 win, and was an infield error away from a complete game shutout.

Both Lorenzo Cain and Ryan Braun get the evening off, which would be more concerning if they weren't both slumping. Hernan Perez is in left and Brett Phillips gets his first start of the season (for the Brewers, anyways) in centerfield. Milwaukee goes with the Two Erics, a Brett, and a Brent.
