Boone Logan to begin rehab assignment for Milwaukee Brewers in Biloxi

1

The Milwaukee Brewers signed veteran lefty Boone Logan to a one-year deal this past winter, but he has yet to throw a regular season pitch for the club after suffering a triceps injury during Spring Training. Now nearly four weeks into the regular season, Logan's recovery has progressed to the point where he is ready for a rehab assignment, which will begin with the AA Biloxi Shuckers. Logan allowed four earned runs in 6.2 innings this spring and owns a 4.47 ERA across 431.1 career MLB innings. As more of a left-handed specialist, it will be interesting to see how Logan fits into Milwaukee's bullpen, which already has two lefties (plus Oliver Drake) and is made up of mostly multi-inning arms.
