Game Thread #6: St. Louis Cardinals (2-3) @ Milwaukee Brewers (4-1)

It's the first rubber match of the season for the Brewers!

After last night's ho-hum Brewer win (I mean, really...they've had ninth inning game deciding homeruns in 40% of their games!), the St. Louis Cardinals (2-3) visit climate controlled Miller Park for the decider in this early season best-of-three series with the Milwaukee Brewers (4-1).

Mercurial Redbirds' starter Carlos Martinez (0-1, 8.31) and Brewers' newcomer Jhoulys Chacin (0-0, 10.80) look to show that their first starts were aberrations and not what we can expect this season. Of course, if either goes five starts and still has an ERA at those levels there will be serious consternation for their respective team.

So, line-ups!:

St. Louis Cardinals (Carlos Martinez, 0-1, 8.31)

1. Dexter Fowler (S) RF
2. Tommy Pham (R) CF
3. Matt Carpenter (L) 3B
4. Marcell Ozuna (R) LF
5. Jose Martinez (R) 1B
6. Yadier Molina (R) C
7. Paul DeJong (R) SS
8. Kolten Wong (L) 2B

Milwaukee Brewers (Jhoulys Chacin, 0-0, 10.80)

1. Eric Thames (L) 1B
3. Lorenzo Cain (R) CF
4. Travis Shaw (L) 3B
5. Domingo Santana (R) RF
6. Jonathan Villar (S) 2B
7. Manny Pina (R) C
8. Eric Sogard (L) SS
