Game Thread #9: Chicago Cubs (3-4) @ Milwaukee Brewers (5-3)

The Brewers get their first crack at an object of their affection that spurned them and chose their hated rivals. But it's all good.

The richest of this year's free agent class, Yu Darvish, goes for the Chicago Cubs (3-4) in an afternoon match-up at Miller Park. Darvish didn't impress in his first start against the Marlins, and is 0-0 with a gaudy 10.38 ERA. Milwaukee counters with Zach Davies, a second half of the season pitcher pitching in the first half...Zach is 0-1 with a 9.53 ERA.

Today's winner guarantees themselves a split of the four game set and gives themselves a chance at a series win.

Is it time to start paying attention to the Pirates?
