It has often been said that one of the good things about major league baseball is that a bad game can often be erased the next day; you don't have time to linger (or malinger) over past horrible outings.

So, less that 24 hours after handing the Chicago Cubs (4-4) a game on a silver platter, the Milwaukee Brewers (5-4) send out Chase Anderson for his third start of the season. Anderson (0-0, 3.60) will face Cubs' ace #3, Jose Quintana (0-1, 9.00) as the Brewers try to awaken their bats, calm down their gloves, and silence the Cubs hitters to gain a split in the four game set.

Anthony Rizzo sits again for the Cubs and Christian Yelich is now on the DL for Milwaukee.
