Game Thread #41: Milwaukee Brewers (23-17) @ Colorado Rockies (22-18)

Happy Mothers' Day from all of us at BCB!

He has been hitting better than pitching, but he's always willing!

One of the Milwaukee Brewers (23-17) top pitching prospects, Freddy Peralta, makes his major league pitching debut (read about him here) against the Colorado Rockies (22-18) and their starter, righty Jon Gray (4-4, 4.24) in Denver today. Peralta replaces an ill Chase Anderson, who was placed on the 10 day disabled list after missing his start last night.

Lorenzo Cain and Orlando Arcia get days off, with Domingo Santana in right (Christian Yelich in center) and Tyler Saladino making his first Brewer start at short.

The Brewers have played some very interesting games on Mothers' Day. A 3-1 series win against the Rockies would be quite awesome.
