The Milwaukee Brewers have another injury to be concerned about. Just as the team was starting to get healthy, Travis Shaw fouled a ball off his foot in the top of the second against the Cincinnati Reds and left the game with a foot contusion.

Shaw would finish the AB with a strikeout before heading to the dugout, where he checked in with athletic trainers and was immediately brought into the clubhouse. Hernan Perez was sent out in the bottom of the inning to replace Shaw at third.

According to the manager and Shaw himself, he won’t be missing any time due to the contusion. In fact, it sounds like you’ll be able to see him at Friday’s home stand with a little bit more padding.
Shaw was lamenting not wearing the shin/foot protector tonight he sometimes uses. He'll be bringing it back on Friday. "It'll be on," he said.
