Last week, the Brewers made a series of roster moves that had a variety of opinions coming out. Though there was plenty of support for the moves, a good portion of the voters did not agree with everything. Let’s look at the results.
- 83% of voters agreed with the decision to option Orlando Arcia to Triple-A.
- 59% of voters disagreed with the decision to recall Eric Sogard.
- 88% of voters agreed with the decision to option Jorge Lopez to Triple-A.
- 85% of voters agreed with the decision to recall Adrian Houser
- 61% of voters agreed with the decision to acquire Eric Kratz.
- 87% of voters agreed with the decision to DFA Jett Bandy.
For the most part, voters were supportive of the roster moves that the Brewers made. The only exception was Eric Sogard’s recall, which the majority of voters disagreed with.
While that’s a good indicator of how fans felt about these moves, how about the management in general this season? Stearns has been constantly shuffling players in and out of the clubhouse while Counsell has employed plenty of non-traditional thinking this season, and the buttons they’ve pushed so far have led to an NL-best 36-21 record. Is everyone still on board with everything that David Stearns and Craig Counsell have done this season? That’s the subject of the poll today. How would you grade their performances this year?
