What Should the Brewers' Uniforms Look Like?

Hello, gang. With the off day today, I figured now is as good of a time as any to make a post about something we all love to argue about: uniforms. While I was doing research for this, I actually found two articles on this very blog from 2010 (Part 1 and Part 2) on this very subject. Since then, the only changes we have seen to the Brewers uniforms are removing the pants stripe and the introduction of the "good jerseys" that combine the ball in glove logo with the current color scheme. With that, let's take a look at what some people of the internet have come up with for the Brewers.

To start off, this is from SFGiants58 from sportslogos.net, who recently remade all 30 MLB teams plus 2 expansion teams (the Expos and Carolina Pilots.) Something that he wanted to do was honor the history of the American Association Brewers, but in blue and yellow instead of blue and red.

I think these look pretty good. I like the updated look of the M logo, and I like the script Milwaukee on the road jerseys, which is something that is missing on the current road jerseys. However, I am not a fan of the yellow alternates, and the "Borchert Field throwbacks" look too much like the Braves.

Next up, /u/arcades_kindling from reddit made some redesigns of MLB uniforms, and combined the ball in glove logo with the current look, similar to what the blue alternates that the team is using now. He made a lot of variations of this, so I'm only going to include my favorites.

And some powdered blue for fun:

Overall, these aren't much of a shift from the current uniform set, so I think this could be a realistic change they could make. We all love the ball in glove, but perhaps they wouldn't switch to using it full time again because it allows people to buy the current hats or go retro.

Lastly, csura999 from sportslogos.net is a Milwaukee resident who came up with his own concept for the Brewers. He introduces a modified ball in glove logo and a new color he calls "Lake Michigan blue."

I like the new blue, but the barley pattern looks a little weird to me. Using cream for the Cream City is something that makes a lot of sense. The Bucks' cream colored uniform has become a fan favorite, so perhaps the Brewers can follow suit. I would love to see how it would look with blue and yellow...

DAMMIT MARINERS. They have been using these for the past couple of years, and it is pretty ironic that both these jerseys and some of the Brewers concepts look similar because of the Seattle Pilots. The cream uniforms look pretty sharp, and I would like to see something like this for the Brewers, but hopefully they would change things up enough that they do not look like they are copying them.

So with that, what are your thoughts? Do any of the above jerseys stand out to you? Or are you happy with the current uniforms the Brewers are wearing?
