Game Thread #34: Pittsburgh Pirates (18-15) @ Milwaukee Brewers (19-14)

Time for the Brewers to beat a team with a winning record for a change...

Oh what a relief it is! Homer #1 for Santana - finally

The Brewers (19-14) pitched just poorly enough and didn't quite hit enough against the Pirates (18-15) last night. I't'd be nice to see the Crew play a complete game against someone other than a AAA team for a change.

Milwaukee sits a game behind the first place Cardinals heading into tonight's match-up at Miller Park, and are alone in second with the Bucs 2 back and Cubs 2.5 back.

With Jaimeson Taillon (2-3, 4.83) on the hill, Hernan Perez gets a start to face the Pittsburgh pitcher that christened him "the Latin Babe Ruth." Milwaukee sends out Jhoulys Chacin (2-1, 4.54) to try and even up the series at a game apiece. Ryan Braun remains out of the line-up.

3. Starling Marte (R) CF
4. Josh Bell (S) 1B
5. Corey Dickerson (L) LF

4. Travis Shaw (L) 3B
5. Domingo Santana (R) RF
6. Hernan Perez (R) 2B
