Milwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt has suffered a setback with his shoulder during his rehab assignment with AA Biloxi.
In the sixth inning of Saturday’s game against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Vogt attempted to throw a runner out at second and again at third. After the throw to third, Vogt would get a visit from the trainers and head back into the clubhouse for evaluation.
According to Adam McCalvy, Vogt is headed back to Milwaukee for further evaluation. The team will need to run tests before knowing the severity of Vogt’s injury.
Stephen Vogt is coming back to Milwaukee to have his shoulder examined. Brewers won’t know the severity of Vogt’s apparent setback until after he undergoes tests.
