PNC Park in Pittsburgh...where Brewer offenses go to die. After last nights two hit, no run performance, the Milwaukee Brewers (42-30) try and end a three game skid and try to get more than one hit in a row against the Pittsburgh Pirates (36-36). Milwaukee enters the game tonight a half game up on the Chicago Cubs after Chicago's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers in this afternoon's make-up game from last night. The Cubs and Dodgers will play again in Wrigley tonight.
Freddy Peralta (1-0, 3.72) is back up from AAA to start tonight and will face the Bucs' Jameson Taillon (4-5, 3.94). Peralta has taken the place on the roster of Boone Logan, who was designated for assignment earlier today. Travis Shaw will miss another game with his sore right wrist, giving another start at third to Hernan Perez, the Latin Babe Ruth as dubbed by Taillon a few years back.
