The Brewers have signed the second of their top two picks, Joe Gray of Hattiesburg, Mississippi High School. Gray rates out with a plus arm and good power potential, but of course as a prep player he has a ways to go before he perhaps plays for the Milwaukee Brewers major league team.
Welcome to Milwaukee, @JoJo2Gray!

Gray receives the full slot value for pick #60, after some prior speculation that it might take an overslot bonus to sign him. There’s probably a good chance that we’ll meet Joe on the Brewers vs Cardinals broadcast tonight, he's at Miller Park today to sign and take batting practice with the team.
Brad Ford has the early info on Gray and what we can perhaps expect from him as a (hopefully) future major leaguer.
