The Milwaukee Brewers picked the young outfielder Joe Gray Jr. with the 60th pick of the 2018 MLB Draft.
Gray is an exciting high-risk prospect who could be a five-tool player. Right now, his most potent tool is his arm, where MLB Pipeline says his cannon is the best among high school prospects.
Overall, Gray looks like a future plus-defensive right fielder with decent power potential. The thing to be most excited about is MLB dropping a Tori Hunter comp on him.
MLB Pipeline ranks Gray as their 61st best draft prospect, Baseball America has him at 52, and Keith Law had him at 46.
The Brewers still have one more pick tonight at 73.
