Milwaukee Brewers take toolsy outfielder Arbert Cipion in 9th round of MLB Draft

The Milwaukee Brewers’ selected Arbert Cipion from New Jersey. Cipion is an outfielder who should stick at his position. He can run with the best of them, has a tall frame and already shows decent power. That power should get better as he continues to add muscle.

Cipion has relatively little information about him. What is available touts two tools more than anything else: his speed and his arm. I’ve seen a couple reports that show he’s in the high 80s, low 90s from the outfield, which is 70 arm strength at least.

In the last year, Cipion batted .482 with 22 RBI, 31 runs and 12 stole bases.
