Game Thread #92: Milwaukee Brewers (54-37) @ Miami Marlins (38-55)

New, comments

I'm hoping to see a better result tonight...I was going to say better performance, but I prefer results.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Brewers (54-37) look to even their three game series with the Miami Marlins (38-55) tonight in South Beach, and look for a solid performance from Jhoulys Chacin (7-3, 3.63) to give them a solid chance. The Marlins are reputed to be a very good fastball hitting team, and last night's results would seem to confirm that, so off speed and breaking balls will hopefully keep them at bay. Pablo Lopez (1-0, 5.73) starts for Miami.

On the other hand, some hits with runners in scoring position last night might have made Josh Hader's relief outing more palatable. But Milwaukee looks to be emphasizing defense over offense tonight...Tyler Saladino is hitting fifth, Erik Kratz is catching, and Lorenzo Cain is out of the line-up.
