Game Thread #101: Los Angeles Dodgers (54-44) @ Milwaukee Brewers (56-44)

Baby steps...a game won, how about a series win?

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

A day after shedding the huge gorilla on their backs that was a seven game losing streak, the Milwaukee Brewers (56-44) go for a series win at Miller Park this afternoon against the LA Dodgers (54-44).

Alex Wood (5-5, 3.92) goes for Dem Bums (hey, if you think Brewer fans can be negative, look up some history of the Brooklyn Dodgers' fan base) against Brent Suter (8-6, 4.39) for the Crew.

With another lefty on the hill for LA, Christian Yelich is the only left handed bat in the line-up for Milwaukee, and he has killed the Dodgers' previous two lefty starters.
