When you want to win a series in which the San Francisco Giants’ (52-52) Madison Bumgarner (3-3, 3.19) is pitching against you, it is a good idea to win the first game when he isn’t pitching.
Mission accomplished. But now, the Milwaukee Brewers (59-46) need to get greedy and beat the lefty in game two of the four game set.
Chase Anderson (6-7, 3.81) gets the assignment for the Crew. I’m taking the under in runs scored tonight vs last night.
The Milwaukee lineup isn’t going to strike fear into anyone not a Brewer fan, and I find it odd that Tyler Saladino is at third base and Hernan Perez is at second. Probably more chances likely at second.
