And now, another pitcher for your consideration. Ladies and gentlemen, Matt Harvey!
An exec of one team asked me today: "How could the #Brewers not have traded for Matt Harvey already?"

Feels like they've been talking to the #Reds forever. But also feels like he's been their backup plan forever -- one of those 3:30 ET deals today if they can't do better
Harvey was traded to the Reds earlier this season, and as a Red has fourteen starts with a 4.44 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. On the plus side he is just 29 and is in the final season of a reasonable contract...about $2M left this season on his deal. But is he better than the other options Milwaukee already has in house? Perhaps - especially if Zach Davies is on the shelf for a longer period.
For the season his xFIP is 4.52. His fastball has held steady at 93.8 mph, and he throws it 62% of the time this season. A hard slider at 88 mph, and an occasional change-up round out his stuff.
Perhaps the exec is Nick Krall.
