The trade deadline has passed, and the Brewers acquired three players in total this week. Here is a summary of the deals:
- Acquired Joakim Soria for Kodi Medeiros and Wilber Perez
- Acquired Mike Moustakas for Brett Phillips and Jorge Lopez
- Acquired Jonathan Schoop for Luis Ortiz, Jean Carmona, and Jonathan Villar
With these deals, the Brewers acquired some additional help for their bullpen and infield, though left their starting pitching and catcher positions alone for now. While a waiver trade deadline deal can still happen, these appear to be the major moves that the Brewers are going to make heading into the last stretch of the season.
Now that everything is official, it’s time to hear how you feel about these trades. How do you feel about each one on its own? What about all three together? Vote in each of the polls below, then join us in the comments to discuss why you voted the way you did.
