The Milwaukee Brewers (63-47) can’t be satisfied. They’ve achieved a winning record on this road trip; they are guaranteed at least a split in this series against the LA Dodgers (59-49); they’ve gotten back into a tie for first place. But the Cubs aren’t going to stop winning, and the Dodgers still are looking to get back to the World Series. So the Brewers need to keep on playing good baseball.
Chase Anderson (7-7, 3.69) hopes to keep his recent streak of good starts going for Milwaukee, and will be opposed by lefty Rich Hill (4-4, 3.82).
Newcomer Jonathan Schoop gets his first start for the Crew, and will hit clean-up. Travis Shaw gets the night off, and Hernan Perez is at short stop.
