Looks like some nice weather for the weekend series in Atlanta. The Milwaukee Brewers (66-52) look to put yesterday’s ninth inning meltdown behind them, and face an Atlanta Braves (62-50) team that trails the first place Phillies by just one game. The Brewers started the day two back of the Cubs, but Chicago beat Washington earlier today, so the Brewers need a win to keep pace. Both teams are Wild Card teams as of right now.
Freddy Peralta (5-2, 3.54) brings his act to Atlanta and will face new Brave Kevin Gausman (5-9, 4.47), who has good stuff but can be a tad wild. Patience, grasshopper.
