The Brewers are now in a wildcard tie and hope to even the series in Atlanta

This current down-tick is starting to seem a bit more serious because it’s the pitching that is failing. Whatever else that was happening earlier this season, it always felt that the Crew was in the games because of solid starting pitching and a lights-out pen.

So the Milwaukee Brewers (66-53) will go with lefty Wade Miley (2-1, 2.10), and the Atlanta Braves (63-50) have Julio Teheran (8-7, 4.48). Wade is a nibbler, and the Braves drew eight walks last night.

This game will be on FS1 and will follow the Cubs/Nationals game, so we’ll once again know ahead of time whether the Brewers will need a win to keep pace with Chicago.
