Game Thread #123: Milwaukee Brewers (68-54) @ Chicago Cubs (68-50)

Winning a second consecutive series in a row from the Cubs would be kinda helpful.

The Milwaukee Brewers (68-54) can pull within a game of the Chicago Cubs (68-50) by winning today’s game, and take their second straight series from the Pride of North Chicago. Junior Guerra (6-7, 3.40) tries to keep the Cub bats silent (and they have been VERY silent for the last three games against the Brewers). Juni G will face the Cubs’ Kyle Hendricks (8-9, 4.02). Lefties take over in the Brewer batting order with Hendricks on the hill.
