Back at it after an off day; the Milwaukee Brewers (68-55) now get to try and stave off the St. Louis Cardinals (66-56). Nothing will be decided in this series, but winning the series pushes the Cards back a bit...and winning the first game of the series greatly increases their chances of taking it.

Jack Flaherty (6-6, 3.22) has looked good against the Brewers. Freddy Peralta (66-56) comes off a poor start; his fastball seems down in both velocity and movement, and he’s walking too many.

It feels like it is invebitable that Matt Carpenter raps at least five homers in the three games.
