The Milwaukee Brewers (86-66) look to rebound from last night’s disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Reds (65-87) with the finale of the three game set at Miller Park this evening.

Travis Shaw is back in the lineup, which is a surprise after he took a fastball directly off the outside bone on his right knee last night. Lorenzo Cain is out, which isn’t a surprise. Here’s hoping that his intercostal soreness is alleviated with two days off. Domingo Santana gets his first start since his call-up from AAA Colorado Springs.

The Cards lost to the Braves earlier today, so the Crew’s lead over St. Louis sits at 3 games heading into Milwaukee’s match with the Reds. The Cubs finish up their series in Phoenix in Arizona and the Dodgers and Rockies meet at Chavez Ravine.

Gio Gonzalez (8-11, 4.44; 1-0, 2.61 as a Brewer) looks for a bounce back start for his temporary team, and the Reds will go with Matt Harvey (7-8, 4.67) who is pitching for his future as well.
