This afternoon’s Chicago Cubs win over the St. Louis Cardinals means that tonight’s game between the Detroit Tigers (64-95) and the Milwaukee Brewers (92-67) is a must win - for the Brewers of course, not the Tigers. The Crew is 1.5 games back, and needs to win to remain one back with two remaining.
Wisconsin native Jordan Zimmerman (7-8, 4.31) goes for the Tigers, and the Brewers have Zach Davies (2-7, 4.65) looking to make his first truly significant contribution to the waning season.
Other games are happening, but I don’t really care who wins or loses.
