This has been a bad winter in Wisconsin — depending on where you are, it’s snowing/sleeting/freezing raining/slushing from the sky again today — but spring starts this afternoon.
Guys wearing Brewers uniforms will be playing baseball today, and they’ll be facing guys wearing Cubs uniforms. This is not one of the games being broadcast on TV, but you can find it on your Brewers Radio affiliate starting at 2:05 p.m.
Chase Anderson will take the ball in the first inning for the Brewers. As for who else will get their first taste of action today, here’s who Adam McCalvy says we can expect to get some work in:
With the pitchers working only an inning apiece and position players just getting started, the Brewers will once again borrow from their Minor League minicamp. Against the Cubs, the prospects who could see the field include Tristen Lutz and Trent Grisham.

On the Brewers' pitching list today: Anderson, Davies, Wahl, Petricka, Deolis Guerra, Houser, Wilkerson. Tristan Archer, Daniel Brown, Nate Griep are among the Minor League arms on loan.

Since those lineups were posted, there’s already been a change — Mauricio Dubon will be playing shortstop and Tyler Saladino will be at second base.
Needless to say, a win today would go a long way in helping the Brewers defend the Cup, while also proving PECOTA was right to project the Cubs to finish in last place.
Must-win.
