Happy Truck Day!

Temperatures may have been 20-30 degrees below zero this time last week, but there’s a sure sign spring is almost here — the the last equipment trucks have loaded up at Miller Park and are on their way to Arizona.

TMJ4 has the behind-the-scenes video of the trucks being loaded — with some help from the racing sausages — and a quick interview with Rick Schlesinger about the ceremonial start of spring.

HAPPENING NOW: The Milwaukee Brewers are loading their team equipment truck for the spring training trip to Phoenix. Among the items are about 20,500 baseballs, 1,000 bats, 200 batting helmets, 160 official spring training jerseys, 20 cases of bubble gum and 60 cases of sunflower seeds.
