WP: Justus Sheffield (1-0)
LP: Corbin Burnes (0-1)
The early spring struggles continued for the Brewers as they faced the Mariners this afternoon in Peoria. The rest of the pitching staff was more stable. Jake Petricka pitched 1.2 innings and struck out four of the six batters he faced. Adrian Houser also pitched 1.2 innings, with two strikeouts and two walks in the game. Deolis Guerra and Bobby Wahl each allowed a run in their appearances. Luke Barker and Rodrigo Benoit each allowed added a scoreless 1⁄3 inning
The Brewers did hit three home runs to account for their scoring in the game. Cory Spangenberg hit his second home run of the spring in the sixth inning of the game. Two batters later, Hernan Perez hit his second home run of the spring for the Brewers second run of the game. Trent Grisham added his first home run of the spring to account for the third run for the Brewers. Tyler Saladino and Tyrone Taylor also recorded hits in the game.
One injury note from the game: Bobby Wahl suffered a right leg injury and will need an MRI:
