Brandon Woodruff will attempt to maintain his pristine pitching line against Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres this afternoon. Matt Strahm will take the mound for the Padres. The Brewers will send out a lineup minus Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich, and Ryan Braun. Of particular note, Eric Thames will start in right field.

Along with Machado, the Padres will start their other two big contract players, Eric Hosmer and Wil Meyers. Brewers’ fans will also get an opportunity to see two of the best prospects in the vaunted Padres system, Luis Urias and almost Brewer, Francisco Mejia. The batting order will look like this:
