Chances are Wisconsin Badgers fans won’t be paying much attention to this game, but really, what’s more important — the NCAA tournament, or the Brewers’ chances at back-to-back Cactus Cup wins?
I thought so.
The Brewers are back on FS Wisconsin this afternoon, hosting the Cincinnati Reds. Zach Davies is on the mound with his first pitch coming at 3:05 p.m. CDT. The Suburban Phoenix Nine come into today 1.5 games back of San Diego in the Cactus League standings with 4 games to play (not counting the exhibition contests in Montreal on Monday and Tuesday). Ned Yost would say the math is on their side.
Cory Spangenberg and Tyler Saladino are in the lineup today despite technically being minor leaguers now. Lucas Erceg is also being borrowed from the minor league side today.
Today’s lineup against the Reds to be seen on @fswisconsin at 3:05pm CT:
