The Brewers are north of the border for their final two exhibition games in Montreal against the Toronto Blue Jays before Opening Day — or at least most of them are.
Tom Haudricourt says Ryan Braun didn’t make the trip because he couldn’t get into the country after apparently not having his passport on him.
The #Brewers will be without Ryan Braun for the two games in Montreal against the Blue Jays. Sounds like he thought he had his passport with him but turns out he didn't. So, couldn't come to Canada.

What an unfortunate series of events that will prevent a veteran player who needs regular rest from going on a road trip for a pair of meaningless games! Totally not coincidental at all! Nope, definitely an honest mistake.
If only he lived in a nearby state where he could make a short flight to pick it up on his way to Canada. Such a shame it’s so far out of the way.
No worries, I’m sure Ryan Braun’s passport is safe and sound with The Real Hank the Dog.
Ryan Braun is a work-skipping hero.
